The whimsical purchase in May 2011 of a second-hand Casiotone 701 keyboard / workstation inspired this EP of songs.

A concept ‘album’ of sorts, written and played entirely on the (circa 1983) Casiotone 701 and with just a handful of FX pedals and some rough vocals. Multitracked and arranged in Cubase but otherwise consisting exclusively of Casiotone 701. I hope you enjoy.

I’ve always been a fan of Casiotone for the Painfully Alone and see this as a ‘Homage’ to his genious and ability to wrangle more from the much maligned beast that the Casiotone Synth/organ is.
